Oh man, that's amazing. Puts my mind at ease just look at it. I think I'll print it out and tape it over my ugly manhattan rooftops view at work.
Is that a Japanese-style chain drainspout? Saw many cool variations on them during our trip.
Thanks Mel. It's a work in progress. We've a stash of trees waiting in the wings to plant in there this winter.
Luke - Manhattan rooftops are (if not relaxing) very cool. I love rooftops in general.
The rain chains funnel water to a storm water line that runs to our irrigation pond. (We didn't use official copper rain chains as they were too expensive. Instead we just bought big box of steel chain (at 1/10th the price of the nice copper ones) and let it rust up nicely in the rain.
